How to build great relationships with your students // Inner city teacher vlog. This video focuses on the five things I do consistently in my classroom to build great, lasting relationships with my students. These five simple things (that you may have already seen other great teachers doing every day!) have helped me to streamline my classroom management, foster respect for me (as the teacher) and for my students, and ensure that my students stay on track even when I’m not in the classroom. I hope that, if nothing else, you will be affirmed that much of what you may be doing as a great teacher is 100% on the right track, and that great teaching doesn’t require endless effort and exhausting strategies! Little things go a long way, and these simple tips definitely make a difference. Happy teaching! And as always, please Like, Subscribe, and leave your thoughts in the comments!

  1. I subscribed and liked with notifications on ma’am😃👍🏻. I’m a 9th grade student in high school and I really want to be a teacher😊📚. You are a amazing and caring teacher!! I really like all my teachers they are so nice and caring to us! I got all A’s and I’m doing so well! I’m a awesome student and I like helping my teachers out too!! I’m open to my teachers if I ever have a problem and it’s nice to talk to them and they can help me do better. I was wondering what is your restroom procedures for your classroom? There are kids in my classes who tend to abuse the privileges by wandering around🤦🏻‍♂️. My teachers do 4 passes per 9 weeks. I stay hydrated so sadly I end up using them ma’am😭. I’ve been told no plenty of times before and I really needed go and I couldn’t focus on the lessons. I look forward to your future videos and thank you for the advice!!
